Chevron, agreement for the supply of Aboitiz Power diesel inks

CHEVRON Philippines Inc., distributor of the Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, recently signed a contract with Aboitiz Power Corp. to supply diesel to the latter’s nine power plants in the country.

The partnership, which was established in March of this year, underscores the confidence AboitizPower has in Chevron and its products to keep the company’s operations in peak condition.

“With Chevron Philippines as our quality fuel supplier, we look forward to achieving operational efficiency and worry-free operations so that we can continue to provide the much needed power to keep the lights on in many Filipino households,” he said. Ronaldo Ramos, president and chief operating officer of the Aboitiz Power Oil Business Unit.

One of the country’s leading energy suppliers, AboitizPower is engaged in power distribution, generation and electricity retail services with a total capacity of 3,962 megawatts.

Emmanuel Lopez, senior vice president of the AboitizPower Coal business unit, said, “We are confident in their reliable service to support our operations as we continue to provide the country with reliable, sufficient and cost-effective power.”
