The expansion follows the social network’s first NFT test launch in May. With this extension, users and businesses in more than 100 countries across Africa, Asia Pacific, Middle East and the Americas can now share their NFTs on Instagram.
Prior to the expansion, support was only available to select developers in the US, TechCrunch reports.
The company also announced that Coinbase Wallet and Dapper Wallet are now accepted as third-party wallets that are compatible for use.
Instagram is also adding Flow to its supported blockchains.
Instagram’s NFT feature allows users to connect a digital wallet, share NFTs, and automatically tag a creator and collector for attribution.
