Globe welcomes participation in the PSAC

THE Globe Group on Friday said it has the privilege of being part of the digital infrastructure sector of the recently convened Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC), a body created on the orders of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to promote public-private collaboration. towards including national development.

In a statement, Globe said the digital infrastructure sector has aimed to ensure greater internet access in the country and support the government’s digitization goals, as the president set out as key goals in his first state of the nation address.

Globe’s participation in the board, through its chairman and CEO, Ernest Cu, offers a path to greater synergy with the government and other private sector partners in pursuit of a shared aspiration for Filipinos.

“We are thrilled to have a seat at this table where we can provide insights to the administration and collaborate with colleagues on digital initiatives to achieve the CEO’s digitization goals, which echo our goals,” said Cu.

“The creation of this council fosters friendship and a cooperative environment between the government and private sector leaders, and I can only see that this will take the nation further towards achieving our common goals,” he added.
