Jio News: Reliance Jio and DigiBoxx partner for cloud storage service

Reliance Industries’ digital services arm, Jio Platforms, will partner with Indian file storage and sharing platform DigiBoxx to develop storage solutions and meet the cloud consolidation needs of Jio’s existing and future customer base, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

In addition to the currently offered 20GB of storage, users can now enjoy an additional 10GB of storage on DigiBoxx by signing up through the JioPhotos app. Jio customers can save their personal information by enabling auto-sync and viewing everything on the Jio set-top box.

“We are delighted that DigiBoxx, an Indian-made storage platform, is joining us on this journey as we believe their offerings are secure, fast, intuitive and world-class. This integration would provide an unparalleled user experience for all Jio users looking for additional storage solutions, and now it is easily accessible,” said Kiran Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, Jio Platforms Ltd.

India-based DigiBoxx, founded in 2020, is a digital file storage and digital asset management platform for individuals and businesses.

“We are very excited about our new partnership with Jio Platforms. This alliance will help us bring our proprietary technology offering to a new group of digitally active consumers. We firmly believe that we have a groundbreaking service and platform that no one can match given the storage space we provide,” said Arnab Mitra, CEO of DigiBoxx.
