Three injured after the plane crash at Miami International Airport

A plane carrying 126 people caught fire when its landing gear collapsed on the runway at Miami International Airport on June 21, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR). The video tweeted by @findmory showed the damaged airliner owned by Red Air, a low-cost airline based in the Dominican Republic. Miami International Airport said the collapse of the landing gear in the nose of the plane appeared to be the cause of the fire. The fire was extinguished with foam by the fire brigade. MDFR said three people aboard the plane were injured and were hospitalized. The National Transportation Safety Board said the jet was a McDonnell Douglas MD-82 and was investigating the cause of the crash. Red Air said it is working with the Dominican Civil Aviation Institute and Miami authorities to investigate. Credit: @findmory via Storyful
