Prince Harry given green light on Daily Mail privacy lawsuit

A British high court judge has given the green light for Prince Harry to continue his legal case against the publisher of the Daily Mail.

Publisher Associated Newspapers (ANL) tried to have the case thrown out, arguing that the Prince’s legal challenge had come “far too late”.

Prince Harry is among seven high-profile British figures, including Sir Elton John, who have accused the publisher of unlawfully gathering information – including hiring private investigators to insert listening devices in cars.

ANL continues to deny these accusations.

A subsequent hearing will be held on November 21 to consider the outcome of the ruling.
