A small plane overshot the runway at an airport outside Dallas on November 11, before crashing through a fence and colliding with a car. Jack Schnieder was on the tarmac at Aero Country Airport at the time, and was able to record the dramatic moment. “I saw the airplane coming down the runway quickly. I knew that he wasn’t gonna have time to stop. It was clearly going too fast, the tires were smoking,” he told WFAA. Paramedics examined the two people aboard the plane and the driver of the car. The latter was taken for treatment for minor injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration said the plane involved was a single-engine Lancair IV-P and the incident was being investigated.
